ANGKOR? From Sanskrit nagara, means town or capital
Imagine a city (in fact several) spread over 230 km2 where remain only majestic ruins of more than 50 brick or sand stone temples.

Now disappeared, houses, palaces, made of wood between moat and temples, left room for lush vegetation dominated by huge ficus and kapok trees.
The immensity of the site, its variety, suit well for a 3 days visit. Less, you’ll rush to see only the main temples.
However, you could easily spend 5 days for a deeper visit.

Three possible access pass :
1 day pass : 20 USD     -     3 days pass : 40 USD     -     7 days pass : 60 USD

Angkor period spread over IX to XIV century, while Khmer empire dominated south-east Asia. This was the time of the temples erection.
